Hailing from the vibrant southside of Chicago, Kim’s formative years instilled in her a strong sense of community and a passion for helping others, traits that have defined her personal and professional journey.

 

Kim holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Information Systems, reflecting her diverse skill set and multidisciplinary approach to addressing societal challenges. Her innate desire to assist others has been a lifelong calling, further fueled by her experience as her mother’s caregiver.

 

This experience has motivated her to guide and support others on their paths, helping them avoid potential hardships and navigate the complexities of caregiving with grace and resilience.

 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kim is deeply involved in various ministries at her church, New Life Covenant Southeast, including the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Dance Ministry. Her active participation in these ministries reflects her dedication to spiritual growth, community engagement, and uplifting those around her.

 

In March 2023, President Kimberly Major established Grace for Caregivers, a pioneering healthcare services company on a mission to revolutionize the caregiving experience. Inspired by Kim’s personal journey of providing homecare services for her mother, the company was founded to address the urgent need for improved caregiving quality and support for both caregivers and care recipients.

 

Through her leadership, Kim has brought a compassionate and innovative approach to the caregiving industry, positively impacting the lives of countless individuals and families.
