DALE K. TROTT is founder and president of DG&M Agency, Inc, an independentinsurance firmwith offices in Rochester, New York and Charlotte, North Carolina.DG&M Agency, which began operating in April 1996, provides personal and commercial solutions for virtually allyour insurance needs, including auto, home, life, business, bonding, disability, and employee benefits. The Agency now serves more than 5,000 individuals and businesses in New York, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont,Maryland, Massachusetts,and Wisconsin.

Prior to starting DG&M, Mr. Trottspent 14 years with Aetna Life & Casualty Company. While there he held several management positions in the marketing, underwriting and claim departments. Rochester was his last stop after spending stints in the company’s Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Hartford offices. Mr. Trott was Claim Manager of the Rochester branch when he left Aetna to launch his own business.

Mr. Trott has had a diverse corporate background with expertise innegotiation,information technology, budgeting, claim, risk management, underwriting, marketing, customer service, finance and strategic planning. Throughout his career he has had a proven track record of success.

Mr. Trott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Labor Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He was conferred the CPCU (Charted Property Casualty Underwriter) designation in 1994, AIC (Associate in Claim), and INS (General Insurance) designations in 1989 and 1988 respectively.

Mr. Trott is a member of the National CPCU Society, the Rochester CPCU Society, the Rochester Black Business Association, the Independent Agents Association of New York, the Independent Agents Association of Monroe County, and a former Education Chair for the Independent Agents Association.

A native of Racine, WI, Mr. Trott now lives in Penfield, NY with his wife and son.
