Currently serving as the Financial Programs Support at the Virginia Diverse Chamber of Commerce, Brian is also the proud owner of Advantage Accounting and Taxes.

With a strong background in managing accounting teams and implementing strategic policies, Brian has spent nine years fostering team growth and overseeing operations. His expertise as a controller is well-demonstrated by his tenure in key roles, including serving as the Controller for a small Community Banking Corporation with $80 million in assets and two different Asset Management Companies.

Brian’s exceptional communication skills have enabled him to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, ranging from Banks’ Board of Directors to regulatory auditors such as the Office of Banks and Real Estates (OBRE) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Company (FDIC). He has been instrumental in preparing comprehensive financial packages for boards, including financial statements, ratio reports, and variance analyses, as well as quarterly FDIC Call Reports for regulatory compliance.
